This one it to announce that on next January 2nd 2010 at 22:00 UTC we will fully stop our net IVAN to upgrade the software of all Servers. We will make a broadcast announcement online 15 minutes before the disconnection and at the scheduled time we will shutdown all servers. We expect to have the net running again in 3 hours aproximately.

The Portuguese and the United States of America divisions have prepared a long haul enjoyment for you. Our aim is to provide you full ATC coverage during this event from Lisboa airport (LPPT) to New York John F. Kennedy airport (KJFK).
The event will be held on the 24rd May and in order to ensure you will have ATC all your way to New York, we strongly suggest you to depart from Lisbon between 11z-13z.
During this transatlantic flight of approximately 6 hours, you will enter two major Oceanic Control Areas. Initially Santa Maria OCA (LPPO FIR) and finally New York OCA (KZWY FIR).

We are proud to announce the release of the Iberian VFR Tour, The Azores Tour and The UltraLight Tour. The tours this year are different and regulations are to be complied with. The release of the new 2009 tours brings last year's tours to a close. The closure date for the old tours is planned to be 12 April 2009. We ask all members with pending/ongoing tours to finish them by 12 April. We hope you enjoy these new range of Division Tours available for your enjoyment on IVAO. By completing each Tour, you will be awarded by the division!
