FRA - Free Route Airspace
Within FRAL airspace users will be able to plan user-preferred trajectories through the used 5 of letters Waypoints Name Code, and the Radio Navigation Aids. Segments between Waypoints will be indicated by means of " DCT " instruction.
GENERAL PROCEDURES
-Free-route procedures are available in Lisbon FIR above FL245.
-Within the FRAL area there will be no limitations on the use of " DCT ".
-Overflight traffic should plan directly from Lisboa FIR entry point to Lisboa FIR exit point.
-Arriving traffic should plan directly from Lisboa FIR entry point to the STAR initial waypoint.
-Departing traffic should plan directly from SID final waypoint to the Lisboa FIR exit point.
-Cross-Border - DCT - NOT allowed
